Stranded

Stranded

By Cleo Kraft

I sat there in my truck for a long while. Every now and then I let out a curse at myself for never getting that spare tire. Now I was stuck out in the middle of the Rocky Mountains on some lonely dirt road with a flat and nobody even knew I had left town or even cared.

I waited until the sun went down, and then decided nobody was going to find me out here. So it was up to me to go find help.

I reached under the seat and grabbed an old gas lantern and stepped outside into the night. There were plenty of stars visible from this remote location and the warm August air stirred itself up in this lonely valley, choking me with dust devils out of the darkness in occasional gusts of wind. A great howling sounded through the trees and wings fluttered by. Off in the woods I heard the trotting of horses along some imagined trail.

I lit the lantern and wandered around to the back of my truck to fetch an axe and some gloves. I let the beam of my lantern wander off into the woods and I followed. I stumbled through some bushes and found a small trail. I swung my arm around and let the light pass in a full circle. The trail looked ancient and weeds and bushes grew up haphazardly in spots. I lifted my lantern and peered down the dirt path and my heart stopped for there, standing off in the distance, stood a misshapened creature with it's golden eyes glaring back at me in the reflection of the light.

The monster snarled at me and I heard the galloping of a horse dash away into the darkness. I clutched the handle of my axe and followed on after the creature. The trail was uneven and led me down through some cliffs and into another valley. I walked for hours and continued onward by the light of the stars even after my lantern burned out.

The trail ended at the enterance of a cave. Small torches lit the walls inside and I wandered onward into the mysterious cavern.

"Stephanie, we have a visitor," a mans voice echoed through the tunnel.

"He followed me," a woman said.

"Why did you let him come here?" the man asked.

I walked out of the tunnel and into a huge cave room. A large fire burned in the center and a man and woman turned around to face me. They wore white robes and each carried a staff.

"Too late now," the woman said.

"Hello," the man said walking forward to greet me. "My name is Roy, and this is my wife, Stephanie. What brings you to our home?"

I briefly shook hands with him and said,"I'm Mike Rollings. My truck broke down back there and I thought I saw a horse. So I figured there had to be a farm or something up that trail."

The man looked me up and down for a moment, as if sizing me up or something. "It's a pity he's male," Roy said to his wife.

"Indeed," she agreed with a smile. "I think it's going to be his lucky day. Shall I?"

"He followed you. So the pleasure shall be all yours," Roy told her.

"What are you two talking about?" I asked.

"Come with me," Stephanie said taking me by the hand. "You have nothing to fear. I want to introduce you to the others." She led me down another tunnel and out into a great underground canyon.

I stood up at the top of a cliff and watched as hundreds of winged horses flew up and down the length of the canyon. These creatures were also part human. They looked like centaurs only with wings on their backs, just like a pegasus. The females all had four breasts on their human torsos. I stood there mesmerized by the beauty of it all.

Stephanie dropped her staff and let her robes fall to her feet. She stood there, naked, and smiled at me. Then she kneeled upon hands and knees and rapidly changed shape until she became just like those other winged creatures.

"What are you?" I asked in awe.

"I am a Tairie," she said blinking and turning her head sideways. "Do you like what you see?"

"Oh yes."

She smiled,"Come with me, Mike. Hop on board. I want to show you the other side of the cave."

I climbed on her back and she flapped her great white wings and took me up over the canyon and down among the other Tairie who galloped across the air. Cool wind blew in my face as Stephanie took me up out of the canyon and into another cave tunnel. She kept flapping her wings even as I dismounted.

"Do you like girls?" she asked walking towards me, forcing me to take a few steps backward into the tunnel.

"Yes, why?" I asked staring at her breasts.

"You like these?" she asked holding the upper pair of breasts in each hand. I nodded. She laughed,"Ah, poor Mike. You should never have followed me to this place. You should never have discovered the cave, but now it's too late."

"What do you mean?" "Now it's too late for you to go back. You know too much," she said walking closer to me. I stepped back again. She smiled and said,"You probably think I'm just a weak girl with these little arms here, don't you? Well, I'm not. In this form I can lift great boulders with little effort." She grabbed me by the arms and lifted me above her head to prove her strength. She carried me down the tunnel and into a small room where a few statues stood around a circle. The statues were of these horse creatures only the human torso seemed to be missing from each one. Instead there was a hole in each neck. She lowered me down into the neck of one of the smaller statues until I was up to my waist. Then she let go and I felt a little clamp tighten about me just at the waist. "Oh my!" she said in mock surprise. "I must have put you into a girl one by mistake!"

"What are you going to do to me?" I asked struggling and looking around me. "I feel like it's squeezing my legs to death. What are you doing to me?"

"A long time ago, an alchemist found he could turn flesh to stone. Then he quickly found the reverse was also possible," Stephanie explained. "So he then went on to develop a way to bend flesh into something else until he came up with things like these statues. Molds for a race of fantastic creatures. Soon you will be able to change between human and Tairie form. However, this requires extensive concentration, mind over matter, and it could take you years before you discover exactly how to do this."

"But why female?" I asked feeling my insides stretch and fill out into the stone.

"A nice dairy farmer found us out a few years back," she went on. "He came to discover our girls had a lot more milk in us than the average cow, so he struck a bargain and provide him a large supply of milk while he protects us, provides us our food, and keeps us a secret from the outside world. So you see, Mike, we don't get many visitors and we certainly can't allow you to return with knowledge of us, so we've long ago decided to convert strangers into a larger herd of milk producing Tairie."

"What?!"

"Don't fight it, Mike. You'll soon understand. Everything is going to be okay."

I felt the stone become part of me and then everything shifted and I started growing breasts. My chest swelled and I realized I was growing not one pair, but two pairs of breasts!

"What is happen....ing?" my voice cracked. My nipples swelled out and I felt a great pressure behind them that needed relief. Droplets of milk oozed out and formed streams down my chest. I suddenly felt a rush of blood fill through forelegs and hind as I became this horselike creature. I flapped my new wings and gasped at the feeling of power this body gave me. My face shifted and hair grew down my back. Long blond hair. I stepped off a stone platform and turned to look back upon my body. I was covered with a light, white hair all over my horseform, and had white feathered wings. My human torso was all woman save I had an extra pair of breasts under the first. I squeezed my upper breasts and felt a relief as the pressure escaped in streams of milk that quickly pooled up on the cave floor in little puddles. Tingles of pleasure wafted through my chest and sent shivers down my spine. I felt tears roll down my cheeks at the wonderful feelings I was having.

"See? Now isn't that better than before?" Stephanie asked patting me on the back. I hadn't noticed she changed back into her human form. She climbed up on my back and kicked her heels into my sides. "Giddy-up," she said and I let go of my breasts and quickly obeyed. I got to a gallop and sped out of the tunnel and, with wings flapping wildly, I went soaring over the underground canyon...

----- "...It seemed like I flew forever over that canyon under the mountain," I said.

"Well, it's a good thing you finally escaped," the man said lowering his lantern and looking back over his shoulder. "I've got my truck back there on the main road. You can hop on board and I'll take you back to the city."

"I'm not going back," I said watching a few Tairie step out of the forest from behind the man.

"You aren't?" he asked.

"And neither are you," I said smiling at the new recruit.

"Welcome to paradise," Stephanie said, picking the man up off the ground and flying up into the night.

Some milk oozed out of my nipples and I let out a satisfied sigh. Life was good.
