Our primary foe has been defeated, but we have little time to rest. Time marches on, afterall. We will be divided into core teams, and each will be assigned a task in the coming weeks.

Teams
Airship Production Team:
- Rakel, Farok, Tohru
- Temporary Hires
With the current designs, unless y'all decide to do something strange (like the Double Entendre), you have enough xeclo for five airships, twentyfive gliders, or any mixture thereof. Past that you have to use silk, which is more fragile and flammable. Unfortunately it looks like that xeclo was being made in a way you don't yet know, although Ardi and Fredorig can start messing with it.
Construction Team:
- Ramirez (Head)
- Bin, Tork, Zogurt
- Temporary Hires
Diplomatic Relations Team:
- Milktea (Primary Diplomacy)
- Ran (Secondary Diplomacy)
- Ayotnom, Lewi (Bodyguards)
Home Team: Book-keeping and direction; always considered busy.
Research Division:
- Naeko, Fredorig, Kiri
- Bleufie, Bo, Genny, Ripley, Solti, Yurinari, Yukina
Week One
Airship Team: Work on barge balloons for future construction.
- Day 1 – Draw up plans, note materials, procure materials. Easy enough to do. While you don't know how to make xeclo you have a lot of it in store.
- With the size of this one, we'll go for regular silk instead and save the xeclo for combat craft. Get creative with the weight-saving design of the body; it's got to be fairly wide, too.
Construction Team: Secure plateau territory and establish temporary base; begin construction as soon as possible.
- Day 1 – Plant flags and survey land. Plan layout. Surveyors are used to riding, are you getting horses up on the plateau?
- Likely not using horses, just the Lily and maybe borrow a harpy for measurement purposes. Otherwise standard tools, drawing maps from the air, whatever magic available to help gauge distances, along with ropelengths and such.
- Surveying Rolls (Ours): Engineering (18+5), Masonry (8+4), Carpentry (10+4, 10+3)
Diplomatic Team: Contact the dwarves about the base at Boatmurdered, get them on our side as best we can.
- Day 1, 2, 3 – Prep up the Aurelianense as diplomatic vessel and send team out. Should take two days to go, one to rest while parked in a valley because you want to show up fresh, and two to come back.
- Part of this is proper clothing and refreshing on proper etiquette on the way there. Not sending a skeleton crew, so the diplomats don't need to work too hard. Ran and Milktea are both able to speak Dwarvish, though Milktea is going to be introducing Ran as our official diplomat.
- To the dorfs: General message is "The Bortaks negotiated in bad faith, intent on scamming both buyer (you), and their supplier (us). It isn't unreasonable to continue to honor it, but is it not besmirching your honor to allow yourselves to be taken advantage of after you learn the truth?"
- Day 4 – xxx
Research Division: Thaumecha research! Get connectors and limbs constructed.
- Day 1 – Examine Near's old mecha and notes. Prepwork on conversion. That stuff was definitely installed by goblins, in that there's various bits that don't look like they do anything, but they do. It's built around springwork, mostly, and some of it works without magic. Genny's system is based on animated ropes actuating pneumatic cylinders, and makes more sense. Who tries this first?
- Remia is first in line for thaumecha, along with Genny. Using Near's notes and her mecha combined with what Naeko is willing to divulge of her own notes when it comes to designing replacements. Remia has goblin connectors, still, while Genny has what Naeko did. Replicating and amalgamating these designs should give us something that'll work with the volunteer girls that Kiri deigned to convert early.
Week Two
Diplomatic Team: Contact other harpy flocks in the area (Primarily through Ran; Biggie and the Lily in case of any flocks with injured or young that cannot fly).
"You don't have to join us. We will not use force or threat to coerce you.
"But... we're unique in that. Once our Floral Brigade starts to really move. Once the landbound tribes of shortarms see our superiority in air, and realize their options... They will come for you. You will get no rest; nests raided of egg and chick alike. Young growing to only know slavery in pulling whatever gross chariots of bladders, air, wood, magic... anything cobbled together to carry their cruel masters aloft in the air.
"So heed my call, or at least my warning. Join with us, in safety and purpose, or flee these lands.
"But I do believe we harpies have a place in the new world, one we have made ourselves, and it isn't as slaves, nor picking at the scraps of others."
an open speech to the harpies; Firebrand de Paopao, as both Phoenix of harpies and Hallbritn of the IFB
