DAr-Tchella A large, circular heighliner bearing a tower in the center, filled with crystals of various types. The Tower can bestow the power of its crystals to those that know the proper codes and can invoke strong enough feelings or desires to it, allowing the use of magic without physically holding a crystal. Due to the long distances usually required, and the strong mental state required, "Song Magic", as it's been come to be known, typically takes a while to use, though it can have surprisingly strong effects. Using Song Magic when not on the liner requires one to have a special headset containing an amplifier crystal. Song magic allows greater flexibility in exchange for taking longer, as well as putting greater strain on a singular crystal. The amplifier crystals within the headset are only produced on Ar-Tchella itself. Ar-Tchella considers itself its own canton, though it has no real Lands. The population is fairly small, and it supports itself with hydroponics. |
