Basic Songs
Arhou'chs cecet; "Shield of Hope"A basic song that turns one's wish for hope into a protective barrier. Allies within (charisma) spaces of the singer can use her Singing skill attack roll in place of their own defense roll once per turn, chosen before their combat roll is made, but after the singer has made hers (on her turn). Singing this song is a normal action, and counts against the number of attacks one makes in a round.
Cinna; "Salve"A basic song magic that soothes the pain of those who hear it, allowing them to ignore some damage they've taken, if briefly. Allies with (charisma) spaces of the singer may ignore the penalties of some of their wounds, so long as she continues singing. Using cinna is a normal action, and reduces the user's defense bonus so long as she continues to sing. At higher levels, cinna grants allies within the affect an increase in their threshold for the duration of the song.
Moderate SongsLunestrazer; "Moonlight Spear"A simple, but potent, attacking song magic. The singer builds up fervor and charges the air with psionic power before releasing it as a spear that pierces through foes. Charging Lunestrazer is a normal action, but may only be performed once per activation. Loosing Lunestrazer is also a normal action, and both may be performed in a single activation, though the penalties for charging Lunestrazer remain until next activation regardless.
Lunestrazer is charged by spending attack dice, and adds 1 dice of charge for every 2 attack dice spent. While charging, the singer takes a penalty to attack and defense, as well as to movement. Upon releasing Lunestrazer, the singer rolls using their singing skill to attack (ignoring the attack penalty from charging), and applies bonus dice equal to the number gained by charging, up to a maximum limit based on rank. This attack is applied to all foes in a line for a number of spaces equal to the singer's charisma and attunement scores added together.
Complex Songs
Pajaa chs E-orn; "Purge becoming Steel"The singer of this song gains control of metal surrounding her, allowing her to attack with it, warp it, throw it, break it, and otherwise alter it to her whim. The singer can use her song skill to attack creatures in her song's area, to defend a creature, or to alter a metal object with more fine control, up to a certain size.
