- Habitat
- A Habitat component houses Derps, Rations and Payloads during spaceflight.
- A Habitat can carry as much Mass as its own minus 1 (For example, a mass-4 Habitat can carry a Derp, an EVA suit, and two Rations). A mass 1 habitat is considered a "test article" and can be built to try to save on research costs, but does nothing.
- A Habitat can be launched partially empty. In which case, consider its mass as 1 + whatever it is actually carrying.
- A Habitat can benefit from Technology Transfer from a capsule, since the parts are similar.
- A Habitat cannot be made Reusable, however, unless it is carried home by a reusable thruster
- A Habitat does not have the ability to control burns.
- Habitats roll for reliability during Transit or Orbital stages, as well as steps on a celestial body surface.
- All derps who end their turn in a Habitat that passes its duration reliability check recover 1 Stamina, up to their maximum.
- FAIL! - In case of a Fail, Derps aboard the Habitat must spend their time doing minor maintenance and do not regain Stamina.
- BOOM! - In case of a Boom, Derps aboard the Habitat LOSE a point of Stamina each doing major maintenance. If any derps on the Habitat have 0 Stamina, they are injured. If any derps on the Habitat were injured, they die. Injured or dead derps mean that the Habitat loses -3/-3 reliability.
