Backstory/Concept
Gothy girl, MtF. Lives with her mother. Elder sister (+8 years). Genuinely believes in magic.
Born Micheal Vannini, Fiona realized her true gender early on, though it caused problems with her father. A desperate act of self mutilation when she was 12 years old led to hospitalization and hormone treatments for a year before her mother divorced her husband. Afterward, Fiona was allowed to be who she wanted to be, though her body was far different than she wished. When 14, she found out from an aunt on her father's side the potential of magic that she could use to shape her body. Eagerly biting on, Fiona took on the witch name of Verdandi, and practiced primarily on herself.
Her magic could only grow parts of her and not shrink them, she found, and by the time she was 17, she had gained two feet in height more than she would have, with rather exaggerated proportions. Her only success in removing parts was in shifting the growth of body hair into her scalp, causing her to be almost entirely hairless, but her hair grows a centimeter each day. Her bustline's growth is something she tried stopping a bit too late, unfortunately, and she imagines it will increase slightly over the next few years...
The long-term nature of her growth magic has made it difficult for her to prove she is capable of magic, and the curse-like nature of the other spells she has tried has shown to be unreliable at best. She seeks to improve her own ability with magic to the point she can truly utilize magecraft.
