- It is possible for a human being to know at least 1 thing with 100% certainty.
- It is possible for a human being to know many things with asymptotic certainty; that is, it is possible to get arbitrarily close to 100% certainty, the more effort and time is put into it.
- While "Cogito ergo sum" is subject to criticism, "There is cogitating going on" is a better first principle in that if there is no cogitating going on, no cogitating ABOUT the cogitating can go on. This is one of the possible things that a human being can know with 100% certainty (by reason of being non-sapient otherwise, and thus not qualifying as human).
